Introduced to the West Coast Main Line in 1966, these elegant coaches were used for the prestigious Manchester and Liverpool Pullmans following electrification. These coaches remained in the unique BR "Reverse" blue/grey livery until 1983, when the became the first loco-hauled stock to receive the APT-style Executive livery.
Following introduction of new MkIIIB Pullman coaches in 1987, the coaches were refitted for use with the InterCity Charter Unit, where they roamed far and wide. They are still in regular use with the West Coast Railway Company and can often be seen on specials around the network.
Each Electra Pack includes sufficient decals to make 4 coaches - (2xFirst Parlour, 1xFirst Parlour Kitchen, 1x First Parlour Brake) and 2 sets of each livery are available with different names/numbers. These packs convert the Graham Farish MkII coach and include full instructions, including how to replicate the recessed passenger doors.
