I am delighted to announce the first of a range of high-quality, pre-printed and pre-cut bodysides for EMU stock in OO Gauge, the refurbished Class 411 4-CEP.
Not a mere re-working of existing N Gauge artworks, the OO range will feature a wealth of extra detail and fine printing.
Electra sides are printed to order, so if you have any special requests (such as NSE logos on a blue/grey unit), please let me know.
The Class 411 4-CEP EMUs were introduced in 1958 for the Kent Coast Electrification and were refurbished between 1977 and 1982, incorporating an Inter-City style interior and double-glazed tinted windows. They worked principally on mainline duties on the South Eastern Division but soon spread to all areas of the Southern.
These sides are designed to fit on a four sutiably modified Bachmann Mark 1 Coach and their unrefurbished RTR Class 411, when the time comes...
The artwork is in development but here is a sneak preview of the first test print. At this stage, the windows have not been cut out and the donor coach is unmodified.
