

These 100mph, dual-voltage 4-car sets were seen all over the network providing mail services from London to destinations on the ECML, WCML, Southern and Anglia Regions. They were often used on non-electrified lines, being dragged by Class 47 or 67 diesels when diverted.
The Class 325s are still in use today, now operated by GBRF and work both the West and East Coast Main-Lines, with occasional diversions via the Great Western. These units are often assisted by locomotives, with preserved 86101 and 87002 having recently worked.
